Craig Karl Allen

Background of an Injury Lawyer in Bellingham - Craig Karl Allen was born in Prosser Washington and is the middle of 3 children. His parents moved to Warden Washington when the Corp of Engineers built the East Low Canal bringing irrigation to the Columbia Basin.
Craig began working since the age of 5 weeding sugar beets on his family farm. Most of his youth was spent tending the potatoes, wheat, peas and alfalfa crops; also raising cattle. Craig estimates he has spent over 5,000 hours on a tractors and other farm related equipment.
He graduated from Warden High School and attended CBCC on a football scholarship. His sophomore year he transferred to Western Washington University where he graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Ethic Studies. While at Western he always worked concurrently; jobs included: “Guy Friday” at Sudden Valley Golf Course, building grain elevators, installing climate control systems for produce storage sheds, bartending, and installing irrigation systems for large commercial farms.
Craig received his law degree from UPS school of law (now Seattle University) in 1981. He returned to Bellingham opening his solo practice for four years before joining the Law Firm of McCush, Kingsbury, O’Conner, Ludwigson, Thompson and Hayes. In 1988 he joined forces with the Washington Attorney General office representing the Department of Labor and Industries which inspired him in 1996 to form his current office at 1900 D St.Craig has been married to his wife Karen for 31 years and they have two daughters Mallory and Mackenzie.

Lucia Castaneda

Lucia has grown up in the Lynden area of Whatcom County where she attended school. She then went to Whatcom Community College and Bellingham Technical College. With 15 plus years’ experience in the medical field, she is empathetic and compassionate towards clients. She is also bilingual and is an experienced translator. In her spare time she loves to go hiking, camping, outings to the beach, and road trips. Lucia loves to enjoy time with her family and friends.

 
 

 
 
 
 
 

Yelena Kim

Yelena Kim

Yelena was born in Narva, Estonia and immigrated to Whatcom County when she was four. She grew up in a multicultural household and is bilingual. Yelena graduated from Ferndale high school and pursued degrees at Whatcom Community College and the Legal Care Center Academy. She is currently working towards a psychology degree at Washington State University. Yelena’s history is in customer service. In true Washington tradition, she worked as a barista for 13 years and still helps occasionally! She is passionate about helping and listening to people, so she can best assist them. For the past six years Yelena has worked as a personal injury paralegal at a local firm. She is also a proud mom! In her spare time, Yelena enjoys an active social life with family and friends, traveling, hiking, trying adventurous foods and learning new things.
